British American Tobacco Iberia has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Executive in Madrid
This role is part of the Commercial Finance team and you will have to provide proactive commercial insights and transparency of marketing decisions for effective resource allocation across the value chain; lead the development of strong commercial awareness within the marketing function and lead the development of best practice methodologies and tools.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactive business partnering in marketing decision making process, bringing financial / business focus to marketing activities and raising marketing teams’ awareness about financial Key Performance Indicators for evaluating marketing activities.
- To facilitate effective resource allocation - supervise preparation of marketing budget/plan and provide accurate and timely information to assist marketing management in monitoring ongoing performance.
- To provide marketing management with financial information and Key Performance Indicators on Brand and Trade Marketing plans and activities, while facilitating effective decision making and improving spend effectiveness.
- Motivate and develop 1 team member.
What are we looking for?
- University degree in Economics or relevant area.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- High command in MS Office.
- Knowledge in budget management and resource allocation
- Knowledge of pricing, excise and portfolio strategy will be an advantage
- Effective leader / driver of new initiatives.
- Proactive, persuasive, creative and prepared to challenge existing ideas.
- Project management skills, the ability to define clear priorities in multi-project environments.
