British American TobaccoIberia has an exciting opportunity for a Heating Product Category Brand Executivein Madrid
Your key responsibilities will include:
STRATEGY & PORTFOLIO
- Be responsible for Heating Product (HP) Category Cycle Plans execution, aligned to global portfolio pipeline; mainly focused in the Portuguese market. Support the Brand Manager to translate global plans into market ones.
- Be a real product expert and a true brand ambassador, acting as key point of contact for the local business needs related to HP category.
- Contribute to deliver Consumer & Commercial Strategy in Portugal, aligned with Area & global KPIs, working hand-to-hand with the Brand Manager.
- Strong analytical skills regarding consumer insights reading, own brand performance and competitors’ performance to be able to identify growth opportunities and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Overview New Product Introduction (NPI) for HP category in Portugal (On-time in-full), supporting the team with product specifications, packaging briefing, legal/regulatory compliance alignments, and packaging artwork approvals. Participate in main NPI process meetings as supporting marketing point of contact.
- Understand & monitor commercial KPIs x-functionally (distribution, shipments, sales, digital, etc.) and be able to drive conclusions for the overall brand performance.
BRAND/ CAMPAIGN & COMMUNICATION
- Manage adaptation of Global campaigns to locally relevant brand communication approach based on comms strategy framework.
- Provide guidance to local consumer marketing teams on brand BAU Activation, Campaign & Touchpoints Activation in line with brand guidelines, Look & Feel, Brand Tone of Voice. Support them in market campaign deployment & share best practices amongst the different markets.
- Ensure brand guidelines compliance in all aspects of in-market deployment, in line with International Marketing Principles, Youth Access Prevention and local regulatory framework.
STAKEHOLDERS ENGAMEMENT
- Own a high record track in different stakeholders’ management; being responsible for end-market strategic management & coordination.
- Prepare presentations and reports for monthly Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) forums, Internal Stakeholders alignments, etc.
- Strong communication skills is required for this position.
OPERATIONAL & SYSTEMIC PROCESSES HANDLING
- Monitor budget and related category expenditure in ongoing basis throughout the year, ensuring accurate budget tracking of all initiatives.
- Manage Purchase Order creation, internal budget system upload.
- Manage Cycle plan actions and update product initiatives in internal platforms.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar business relevant area.
- Master’s degree would be a plus
- Fluency in English & Spanish, both written and spoken. Portuguese would be a plus.
- MS Office Tools - excellent knowledge
- Teamwork and drive to “make things happen”
- Ideally 3-4 years of relevant experience
