British American Tobacco is looking for a colleague to join our Production Team at our Ploiești factory, in the role of Cell Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership

• Lead and prepare the production team for the IWS program implementation;
• Drive performance improvement initiatives;
• Provide coaching and support for team members.

Loss Elimination

• Develop and lead the execution of the 90-Day Plan to address losses and build capability;
• Contribute to achieving performance targets by improving key performance indicators (KPIs);
• Lead root cause problem-solving in the production area, especially in cases of major stoppages.

Team Development

• Develop team capabilities in line with internal methodologies;
• Continuously seek ways to improve performance, even when current targets are met;
• Provide input for team budget assumptions (e.g., number of employees, contractors, overtime, expenses);
• Create shift activity plans and ensure necessary resources are available, including workforce allocation;
• Evaluate team members' performance based on evaluation criteria, identifying strengths and development needs, and providing constructive feedback.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• University degree, preferably in a technical, management, or economics field;
• Experience in a production environment and in team coordination;
• Proven ability to understand technical data and offer support accordingly;
• Highly motivated individual with leadership skills;
• Strong leadership and communication abilities;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
