ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
Corporate Finance Assistant will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Treasury related work and supporting the corporate finance manager in various financial activities, including audit related. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic corporate environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in monitoring the daily cash position, ensuring the accurate processing of cash transactions, and supporting the day-to-day operations of Treasury-related activities.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports, forecasts, and other treasury-related reports.
- Support in reconciling bank accounts, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and discrepancies are resolved.
- Assist with preparing and processing payments, including vendor payments, intercompany transfers, and other financial transactions.
- Work closely with the Liquidity Management team to track cash flow and assist in ensuring the company maintains sufficient liquidity for smooth operations.
- Support maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions, assisting with account management and resolve any banking issues.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather information and facilitate treasury related processes.
- Administer banking system.
- Manage the issuance of corporate credit cards to authorized employees, ensuring all necessary documentation and approval processes are followed.
- Manage the payment of insurance premiums, ensuring timely payments and proper allocation of costs within the financial system. Lead the annual insurance renewal process, working with internal stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing annual financial reports for internal and external auditors.
- Communicate with external parties, including banks and auditors.
- Assist with any additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Corporate Finance Manager.
- Assist with dministrative tasks within the Corporate finance team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software applications.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and corporate finance concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
