British American Tobacco Poland has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Finance Manager in Warsaw
As part of the Global IT Finance Team, this role will provide value adding financial business partnering to assist the function as the future IDT Strategy is implemented. The role will provide insightful/accurate financial data and analysis as to the function’s performance and report this to multiple partners
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support regions with financials, budgeting, and tools such as Planisware and BPC or relevant experience.
- Assist Regional Finance Business Partners in ensuring data accuracy and delivering actionable financial insights.
- Maintain accurate cost centre data by managing journals, intercompany recharges, employment cost reclassifications, and GL changes.
- Create reporting dashboards for budget holders to track actuals and forecast at the cost center level.
- Lead the financial forecasting cycle and provide in-depth forecast analysis.
- Prepare financial presentation materials for senior team members.
- Identify and propose cost-saving and efficiency opportunities; support project and Capex business case evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with SOX (especially accruals), manage intercompany transactions, billing issues, and support SRM PO creation and supplier queries for project spend.
What are we looking for?
- Degree or equivalent experience preferred, with a professional accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or comparable finance experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft products, with SAP experience required; experience in IT or technology environments is a plus.
- Solid understanding of group and project accounting principles, with the ability to guide budget holders.
- Familiar with intercompany recharge processes and CAT’s time system.
- Proactive in identifying and implementing process and reporting improvements.
- Collaborative and flexible, with the ability to influence partners effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support Budget Holders and Project Managers.
