British American Tobacco Poland has an exciting opportunity for a MSE (Marketing Spend Effectiveness) in Warsaw
As a MSE executive, you will support Digital Performance and Analytics Manager to drive marketing spend effectiveness across the markets & categories supported by consumer insights, meaning close cooperation with insights team / category leads to convert consumer insights into commercial opportunities.
You will also strive for marketing spend effectiveness digitalization & automation and track route to profitability drivers for all New Categories.
In this role, you will be in strong collaboration with End market, Area Finance & Resource allocation Team and support with Mid-term & strategic projects delivery related to spend effectiveness.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support in evaluation of marketing spend across 10 markets (Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Czech, Hungary, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) and all product categories to help the business achieve strategic objectives in the short, medium, and longer term.
- Understand & analyse consumer insights for each market / category to find out based on its commercial opportunities.
- Support in marketing spend methodology development & execution key markets / key categories.
- Track route to profitability drivers for HP / Vapour.
- Pro-actively contribute to the development of new tools & reports, which help to simplify day to day activities & deliver commercial insights.
- Close collaboration with Area Resource allocation manager to ensure the delivery of MI/CI targets on a consolidated Area level.
- Act as a SPOC for category leads for global / regional business cases preparation.
- Ensure compliance with group guidelines
- Support financial planning, drive new developments and implementation of new tools.
- Act as key contact person to collaborate and engage with category leads.
- Ensure collaborative and result-driven working relationship with key local and area stakeholders and counterparts.
What are we looking for?
- 2-4 years of experience in finance or analytics positions
- Basic knowledge of insights interpretation.
- Knowledge on revenue generation, ROI, profitability, managing servicing levels, key pricing principles and margin.
- Strong technical skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI) and ability to work with big data.
- Collaboration, negotiation skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver end-to-end projects with tenacity and purpose.
- Resilient, flexible, and confident to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.
- Proficient English required.
- Professional accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA) will be a plus
