REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Supervisorin Clarksville, TN.

Leads day‑to‑day quality operations to ensure all products manufactured at the facility meet consumer, regulatory, and internal quality standards. Responsible for oversight of in‑process and finished‑product verification, management of Quality Technicians, regulatory compliance support, and driving continuous improvement. 

Partners closely with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production Planning to reduce variation, strengthen process capability, and ensure consistent execution of the facility’s quality systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee product sampling, testing, inspection, product release, and quarantine/rework processes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely quality documentation, including non conformances, consumer complaint investigations, reports, and electronic quality records.
  • Monitor in process and finished product quality to ensure adherence to GMP, established quality procedures, and electronic quality system standards.
  • Conduct CDC/HPHC sampling and serve as backup for PQTs.
  • Support FDA inspections, required regulatory training, and data needs for PMTA, MRTPA, and SE submissions.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the Quality Technician team.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, skills assessments, and training sessions.
  • Promote engagement, accountability, and recognition across the team.
  • Ensure team follows timekeeping procedures and working hours policy
  • Conduct daily review and verification of employee timecards for correct data, track planned
  • and unplanned absences. Ensure escalation process and corrective actions are applied when required.
  • Ensure team competency in sampling, testing, documentation, and problem-solving.
  • Set clear expectations regarding quality standards, documentation accuracy, and compliance.

What are we looking for?

  • High school diploma/ equivalent and 5+ years related experience or Associate degree and 2+ years  related experience, OR 
  • Background in quality assurance, quality control, or technical manufacturing.
  • Handson experience with manufacturing information systems, reporting tools, and electronic quality systems (e.g., Pilgrim preferred).
  • Experience in sampling, testing, inspection, and nonconformance processes.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and GMP requirements (tobacco, food, or regulated manufacturing preferred).
  • Knowledge of quality principles including sampling, testing, calibration, metrology, qualification, validation, and documentation practices.
  • Ability to lead and coach others
  • Decisionmaking skills with the ability to work independently or in groups and apply sound, riskbased judgment.
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality system software
  • Ability to interpret data and technical information.  
  • Advanced problemsolving skills using tools such as RCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, PDCA, and CAPA.
