British American Tobacco Denmark has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Executive in Copenhagen
Execute the delivery of specific elements of Financial Accounting and Reconciliation, ensuring quality products at all times. The role may involve certain management responsibilities and may require liaison with internal and external stakeholders. The job holder will ensure process compliance so that source system data is complete and accurate as well as adhering to policies, procedures and accounting standards.
The role functions as Single Point Of Contact for Financial Accounting queries both internally and externally and therefore, a close collaboration with the rest of the organisation is crucial for success.

Your key responsibilities will include
- Act as Single Point of Contact managing all daily requests to and from the Finance Shared Service Centre, liaise with FSSC to ensure delivery of information is on-time in full (OTIF)
- On-site support to employees in regards to invoices, POs and other ad hoc requests, support with Overhead accruals
- BS Reconciliations, reviews and approvals
- Fixed Asset management (incl. asset counts, reviews, impairments)
- Master data management (Cost centres and WBS elements)
- Monthly declaration of VAT and Excise, VAT and Excise analysis and reconciliations, management of foreign VAT reclaims. Support with recordkeeping of excise for purchases of banderols and payments.
- Manage deliveries to external auditors
- Assist in preparing local statutory reports
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in accounting, including VAT/excise reporting, inventory reconciliation, intercompany transactions, and month-end closing.
- Strong financial accounting skills with a solid understanding of SAP, Excel, and relevant finance systems.
- Financial accounting education background required; knowledge of business intelligence/analytics is an advantage.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels internally and externally.
- Results-driven, proactive, and capable of taking responsibility for delivering accurate outputs.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in rational decision-making and systematic problem-solving.
- Ability to manage large volumes of information, present it clearly, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of other business areas such as supply chain and marketing is considered a plus.
