British American Tobacco Bangladesh has an exciting opportunity for an Area IT Manager Operations
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the planning and execution of the digital transformation agenda across manufacturing, supply chain, and quality operations.
- Partner with factory and business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and implement technology-driven improvements.
- Oversee IT solutions and business applications supporting manufacturing operations and operational excellence.
- Drive delivery of digital transformation initiatives, ERP projects, and operational technology enhancements.
- Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technology solutions.
- Build strong relationships with local, regional, and global stakeholders to support business objectives.
- Promote innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel regularly to Savar Factory to engage with operational teams, understand business challenges, and provide technology support.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7 to 12 years of experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, ERP, or Manufacturing Systems.
- Experience with ERP and business applications such as SAP, Oracle, MES, or similar platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management, project management, and business partnering capabilities.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or industrial operations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Strong command of English and Bengali.
- Experience working in multinational or global organizations will be an advantage.
- PMP, Prince2, or other project management certifications are highly desirable.
- Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, Robotics, Automation, or Industry 4.0 initiatives will be an added advantage.
