British American Tobacco Bangladesh has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance lead - FMD - Saver
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Owning and driving the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S) process for assigned production lines.
- Actively participating in Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and reporting maintenance performance, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance work to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Reviewing and prioritizing maintenance notifications within 24 hours of generation.
- Managing maintenance work orders and backlog to support business priorities.
- Leading weekly and monthly maintenance planning meetings.
- Developing and maintaining annual maintenance plans.
- Driving breakdown elimination initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Supporting line loss elimination plans and delivering improvements in equipment performance.
- Maintaining and updating maintenance technical documentation.
- Building maintenance capability within operating teams and equipment owners through coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Ensuring compliance with factory safety, quality, and maintenance standards.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or related discipline).
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in maintenance, manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
