British American Tobacco Costa Rica has an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing Administrator in Heredia.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-End Sourcing Execution: Ability to manage tactical sourcing events (RFQs, e-Auctions, Direct Awards) from initiation to award, ensuring compliance with global and local policies.
- Supplier Engagement: Strong communication and negotiation skills in Spanish, Portuguese and English, ensuring effective coordination with regional suppliers.
- Spend & Category Alignment: Solid understanding of local market dynamics, inflation trends (e.g., IPCA), and category-specific sourcing levers.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordination with Category Managers, Requestors, and team to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Data Accuracy & Reporting: Ensure correct documentation, compliance tracking, and timely updates in dashboards or TPH reports.
- Agility & Prioritization: Ability to balance multiple sourcing requests while meeting SLAs and ensuring process efficiency.
- Perform any other tasks or projects assigned by the Line Manager within the sourcing process, including support to global and regional initiatives and continuous improvement activities
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or high school diploma with at least 2 years of progressive administrative experience demonstrating advanced administrative capabilities).
- Full professional proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English
- Strong mastery of digital tools and office software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other standard office technologies; working knowledge of SAP and Coupa is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities; demonstrates professionalism, integrity, adaptability, negotiation skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
