BAT's Digital Business Solutions KL Hubhas an exciting opportunity for a NPI Deployment Manager in Selangor, Malaysia.
The Global Graduate Programme is an 18-month fast-track journey designed to transform high-potential fresh graduates and young professionals into future BAT leaders across various functions. Through GGP, you’ll tackle real-world challenges, lead impactful projects, and build exceptional commercial skills from day one - gaining a deep understanding of market dynamics and how BAT’s departments collaborate for outstanding results.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring On-Time In-Full (OTIF) outcomes.
- Develop and monitor project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate with NPI, Quality, Brand Marketing, Engineering, and Factory teams to achieve project objectives.
- Provide timely project status updates and flag key decisions to drive progress.
- Manage risks, resolve operational issues, and ensure necessary mitigation plans are in place.
- Maintain visibility of project costs, including tooling, trials, and write-offs, to relevant stakeholders.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration across functions and markets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support knowledge sharing within the NPI community.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) or NPI.
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and change management skills.
- Independent, proactive, and adaptable team player with strong ownership.
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; fluent in written and spoken English.
- Degree in Business Management and/or certifications in Project Management or Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with strong documentation discipline.
