British American Tobacco Bangladesh has an exciting opportunity for an Employee Services Officer - GLTP
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Plan and execute employee engagement and welfare programs (e.g., sports, family day, iftar), ensuring cost efficiency and high participation despite seasonal workload peaks.
- Coordinate HR processes for permanent, seasonal, and contract workers, balancing timely recruitment, documentation, and payroll with fluctuating workforce demands.
- Oversee facility operations (dispensary, canteen, mosque) while maintaining EHS compliance and managing audit readiness.
- Support cross-functional teams with accurate reporting, HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors), and participation in audits and organizational initiatives.
- Engage diverse stakeholders from CBA leaders to government officials, while building trust, ensuring compliance, and delivering consistent service across all employee groups.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – to engage effectively with employees, leadership, and external partners.
- Organizational and time management skills – to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Empathy and employee-centric mindset – to design meaningful welfare and engagement programs.
- Attention to detail – especially in documentation, compliance, and reporting.
- Collaboration and teamwork – to work across departments and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Adaptability and resilience – to manage seasonal peaks and evolving workforce needs.
- Proactive problem-solving – to address issues before they escalate.
