BAT WESTERN EUROPE AREAHAS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A TALENT MANAGER, WE ROLE BASED IN LONDON, UK (Chiswick)
In this role, you will support the talent agenda for BAT Western Europe Area which enables a high-performance culture by providing expert HR Talent solutions regarding talent practices and procedures in line with organizational requirements. To do so, you will be working closely with Western Europe HR team and leadership teams.
- Location: London, Chiswick, United Kingdom
- Reports to: Talent, OE & Inclusion Manager, Western Europe
- Reporting Level: Manages self – no direct reports
- Geographic Scope: Western Europe
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and enhance Talent pipeline programmes in collaboration with key stakeholders in HR and beyond – entry level and middle management programmes
- Align global talent strategy with Western Europe Area business needs, support the development and deployment of new strategies (where relevant) that will drive a high performance culture in Western Europe
- Follow up internal/external talent trends and developments in HR, innovative practices in Talent area and the wider HR agenda, and assess their benefit to BAT
- Work in cooperation with HR Business Partners in executing and embedding Talent practices & get the needs of business through the HR Business Partner teams in Western Europe Area
- Support the execution of annual talent cycles in cooperation with local HR teams; support the introduction and deployment of new Talent concepts and tools
What are we looking for?
- Have a university degree (Human Resources/Business Administration/Psychology or similar)
- At least 5 years’ experience in an international company with a professional HR function
- Deep understanding of key talent processes in a global matrix organization
- Demonstrated the capacity and interest to integrate the need for business results with a people-oriented approach
- Have a drive for excellence: high expectation for the quality of work, proactive in nature and comfortable to take care of ambiguity and to influence a wide array of partners
- Strong planning, organising and analytical skills paired with capability to translate insights into tangible recommendations for people practices
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
- A high level of creativity and ability to innovate
- Competent spoken and written English
