We are looking for a data-driven, creative and results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead and execute strategical initiatives across our Marketing Sub-functions such as: Brands, Trade Marketing & Distribution, Key Accounts, Insights & Foresights, Marketing Deployment and Consumer Experience. This role is crucial for driving and implementing projects through 33 countries as Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Jamaica, Honduras and more effectively and efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team and significantly contribute towards the company’s growth and successes.
The Marketing Manager is a key business partner responsible for driving the overall marketing agenda within an FMCG environment. The primary objective is to deliver sustainable business growth by translating consumer, shopper, and market insights into impactful marketing strategies and execution plans, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and long-term brand equity.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Continuously strive to improve current tools and methodologies to improve analysis of information and develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned with business and brand objectives.
- Lead consumer and market insights generation, transforming data into actionable foresight to shape strategy and innovation pipelines. Effectively manage stringent project timelines & budgets for a fast paced business environment.
- Drive brand strategy, positioning, and communication ensuring consistency and relevance across touchpoints and enhance the end-to-end consumer experience through consumer-centric thinking and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Key Accounts to optimize Route to Market strategies and drive commercial performance and support innovation, product launches, and portfolio management initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics to inform decision-making. Manage budgets and ensure efficient allocation of marketing investments.
- Use data, made available by various tools/ partners, to draw insights to help identify and deliver opportunities for improvements – effectively and efficiently. Track, identify trends, dissect insights, make recommendations and optimize performance vs targets.
- Bring the consumer perspective to marketing decision making by executing analysis and research activities (qualitative & quantitative mainly, offtake and switching data as well) to provide insights and recommendations.
- Lead the development of a robust portfolio strategy and Customer Strategies to reflect the organization’s changing requirements and a dynamic competitive landscape.
- Connect, engage, and foster relationships with cross functional teams (i.e. Brand, Commercial, Consumer Experience, IDT, GBS, etc) and agency partners to lead and deliver the defined initiatives. driving continuous growth in brand and product awareness, revenue, and share of market in the categories.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economy, Analytics or related field.
- Marketing Professional with at least 5 years of experience in Marketing or a related field.
- Advanced understanding of research methodologies and solid analytic skills.
- Advanced Business English, possessing strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights and foresight.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (PowerPoint / Excel).
- Project Management, Agile or Design Thinking experience.
- Proven experience in FMCG marketing roles with exposure to brand management and commercial environments. (Desirable)
