British American Tobacco Argentina has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Process Lead in Pilar
This position belongs to the Operations, Manufacturing department.
This person is responsible for leading and managing the process, control, specification, and traceability of cigarettes manufacturing through the systems and standards established by the company. They are responsible for analysing production line losses and ensuring compliance with Quality, Efficiency, and Waste indicators, generating and developing standards, as well as training in the use of analysis tools and statistical process control. All of the above is done through the use of tools provided by the factory management system (IWS/TPM), effective utilization of the budget, the company's systems, and good interpersonal relationships to achieve the set objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct loss tree analysis of production lines, identify root causes, and develop new operational standards.
- Participate in the optimization and improvement of production processes through statistical analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide daily process support and lead quality, waste reduction, and visual control tools.
- Deliver training and coaching on root cause analysis tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Analyse production data, manage KPIs, and develop short- and medium-term action plans to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, provide the necessary resources to eliminate losses, and lead corrective action plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, lead daily and weekly production meetings, and ensure effective information flow to address production losses.
- Prepare daily and monthly performance reports, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and conduct benchmarking with other factories within the group.
What are we looking for?
- Graduate or advanced student in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in production processes, manufacturing environments, or continuous improvement roles.
- Knowledge of manufacturing management methodologies such as Kaizen, TPM, 5S, Methods & Times, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience managing, monitoring, and analysing KPIs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
- Intermediate level of English.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, teamwork, and influencing skills, with the ability to lead small teams or projects.
- Self-motivated, collaborative professional with the ability and commitment to drive change within the organization.
