British American TobaccoPoland has an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Logistic Manager in Warsaw
The Distribution Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the storage and transportation of goods, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to our customers. By working closely with third-party logistics partners, the manager ensures that all customer orders are processed and delivered on time and in full, while ensuring legal and tax compliance throughout the process.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Customer Service Team throughout the full order-to-cash process (order processing, returns, invoicing).
- Planning and coordinating delivery schedules to ensure efficient goods movement, in collaboration with third-party logistics partner.
- Analyzing transportation data to improve delivery performance (on-time, in-full), together with third-party logistics partner.
- Monitoring inventory levels, warehouse space usage, and storage conditions across all locations.
- Supervising logistics operations managed by third party, including annual stock counts, compliance checks, and contract requirements.
- Tracking obsolete stock and managing the goods write-off process.
- Coordinating the ordering and delivery of excise stamps to ensure availability at production sites.
- Driving process automation, including submitting and implementing SAP change requests and upgrading the Track and Trace system.
- Preparing and sharing data for internal and external audits.
- Reviewing daily operations and implementing continuous improvements to enhance supply chain performance.
- Managing the team, setting goals, and monitoring progress toward targets.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Secondary Supply Chain and team management, including order-to-cash processes, transportation, warehousing operations, and basic tax knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Practical experience with systems such as WMS, SAP, and Track & Trace.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements that support strategic objectives.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions to achieve shared goals.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Polish and English.
- A curious mindset and a passion for continuous improvement—motivated to simplify complexity, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency.
- Certified APICS: Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) would be beneficial
- Six Sigma Green Belt or similar would be beneficial
