REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Plant Performance Manager in Winston Salem
This position is part of the Reynolds Operation Center manufacturing organization and will be responsible for overseeing and driving process improvement initiatives across the organization. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, design and implement solutions, and monitor progress to ensure sustainability of improvements. The role serves as a technical resource to the manufacturing organization in the advancement and focus of continually improving and streamlining our manufacturing processes to achieve operational excellence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities across the organization within different business units (RJRT, SFNTC, ASC – TB)
- Lead and implement process improvement plans to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Provide direction to analyze process data, identify root causes of problems, and recommend solutions to address issues.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance with group standards.
- Provide training and coaching to employees on process improvement methodologies and tools.
- Develop framework for annual and quarterly improvement targets as it relates to the Quarterly Bonus Schemes.
- Develop metrics to measure process performance and monitor progress towards improvement goals.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure process improvements align with overall business objectives.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress and results to senior management.
What are we looking for?
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or similar roles.
- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in using process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, PDCA or Kaizen.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in PowerBI, Powers Apps and Mini Tab
- Consistent track record in managing key business relationships including regulatory affairs
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
