British American Tobacco Mexicohas an exciting opportunity for a RGM Data Science Executive in Monterrey, Mexico.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assortment Strategy Definition
- Define assortment strategy using analytical models (clustering, elasticity, portfolio roles) translated into scalable decision-making tools by channel and customer.
Data & Performance Analysis
- Build automated dashboards and analytical models (SQL/Python/BI) to monitor SKU performance and generate actionable insights on volume, margin, and productivity.
Portfolio Rationalization & Delisting
- Develop a data-driven rationalization tool to assess productivity, overlaps, and transfer effects, enabling prioritized delisting and portfolio optimization.
Optimization & Innovation Projects
- Design and deploy optimization models (machine learning / simulations) to improve assortment decisions, space allocation, and portfolio configuration.
Market & Competitor Monitoring
- Create automated market and competitor tracking systems (pricing, assortment, trends) to feed assortment decision models.
Customer & Channel Engagement
- Develop analytical tools (simulators, scorecards) to tailor assortments by customer/channel and translate insights into actionable commercial recommendations.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Marketing, data science or related fields.
- Professional with at least 2 years of experience in RGM, data or portfolio management.
- Able to communicate with advance level of English.
- Advanced level of MS Excel
- Knowledge in Power Bi, Python, SQL
- Knowledge of segmentation, profitability, and KPI tracking
