BAThas an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager in Ciudad Victoria, México

Responsible for design, plan and develop the most efficient and effective trade coverage, to support the deployment of the portfolio strategy in their territory. Recognize opportunity areas to suggest action plans within the Regional Operational Plan. Additionally, is involved in negotiations with strategic customers and ensures customer’s maintenance and happiness.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for implementing marketing plans in the POS, using assigned resources optimally, and developing and mentoring sales and TM reps.

  • They recognize opportunity areas within his territory and suggests action plans, negotiates with strategic customers, and ensures customer’s maintenance and happiness

  • Communicates trade marketing initiatives to area employees, aligning objectives and scopes of initiatives into actionable tasks for the trade force.

  • Analyzes information and market trends to find opportunity areas in trade marketing and propose action plans.

  • Focus his efforts in People development identifying areas of improvement and coordinating training and on-the-job activities to overtake it.

  • Guarantees accurate and timely implementation of merchandising and promotion material at POS in accordance with the cycle plan and communication coverage plan.

What are we looking for? 

  • General

    • Desirably college graduated or Bachelor degree

    • Willingness to move nationwide

    • Advanced computer skills

    • Desirably English skills

  • Experience

    • 5 years of experience in TM&D on tobacco or similar FMCG categories

    • Minimum of two years in a similar role

    • Desired one year experience in personnel management and control

    • Trade strategy development and implementation
