Are you ready to step into a role where technology meets innovation and your ideas matter? We’re on the hunt for an IDT Analyst Trade & Activation to join our DACH IDT team in Hamburg. Your key responsibilities will include / What you will do? 

  • Lead analysis & Subject Matter Expertise of platforms / projects / enhancements for Sales / Marketing Channels encompassing B2B eCommerce, CRM, Data analytics. 
  • Utilize requirements to design and review test cases, process changes, and manage project scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
  • Lead development of end-user technology projects, including collaboration services and technology suppliers to deliver digital portfolio.
  • Link between Trade and Trade Platforms Team to identify new digital opportunities, driving commercial value and transform ideas into business cases.
  • Collaborate with Global Information & Digital Technology and local Business teams to implement & get the best out of the global platforms.
  • Collaborate with BAT Legal teams to ensure digital initiatives meet required legislations.
  • Experience in large global organizations with in-sourced and out-sourced IT services.
  • Develop detailed process maps and workflows to visualize current and future state processes, identifying areas for improvement and streamlining operations.
  • Design and implement change management plans and communication strategies to ensure smooth transitions during system or process changes. 

What are we looking for? What Makes You a Fit?

  • University degree required ideally in an analytical discipline, e.g., business or engineering.
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Extensive business analyst knowledge and experience, particularly in trade and activation processes i.e. Petra CRM, SAP, B2B community and marketing automation, Trade D&A (DWH, local apps)
  • IT education background and familiarity with FMCG technology landscapes across the region
  • Project mgmt. & ownership skills à Drive projects efficiently and effectively through to successful delivery / result
  • Strong time mgmt, stakeholder and stress mgmt. skills
  • Solid experience and knowledge in documentation and planning tools and techniques
  • Proactivity and initiative, a ‘can-do’ attitude with focus on creative problem solving and the ability to work unsupported
  • Practical knowledge of Agile, Design Thinking and DevOps
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German
