British American Tobacco (UK) has an exciting opportunity for an Area Reporting and Automation Executive – Fixed-Term 12 months in London, Chiswick
The role will be essential to support cross-category commercial insights, pricing and reporting automation agenda across the Western Europe area. Contribute into performance reports harmonization across categories, generate and update of regular reporting for retail audit, create templates for automated reports. Support administrative part of researches (Retail audit, Pricing studies).
Business Intelligence is a stream within Growth Management sub-function with key focus on consolidation of knowledge and insights around pricing and commercial performance. Ensuring timely and accurate reporting, incorporation of insights into business agenda, focusing on improvement of current data utilization, drive automation/simplification of reporting and processes.
Role reports to: SOP Automation Manager
Core Relationships: Internal – Planning, RGM, Insights, Category teams/ External – 3rd party agencies
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Mastery in data extraction and cleaning from various sources – Nielsen Discover, IRI PlusSuite, Circana Temple, Power BI, Excel Pivot tables, etc.
- Providing support with processing of data aggregation for SOP dashboard in Power BI, D&A catalogue, SOP related KPIs integration into one data lake
- Data harmonization across markets/KPIs/categories/multiple data sources to ensure the optimal data integration
- Using automated solutions to minimize the manual involvement of the data integration
- Defining and implementing data quality rules. Ensuring the high data quality of the integrated data
- Maintaining the organization of information worksheets and documents
- Assisting in the development of data warehouse of information worksheets and documentations
- Updating of existing reporting in Power BI, improving and optimizing the reports
- Contributing into Ad Hoc analysis regarding pricing and retail audit performance
- Providing support with administrative tasks related to researches management (Agreements, POs creation, budget control)
- Contribute into competitor reviews and other business updates
What are we looking for?
- A Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Strong commercial experience in relevant fields
- Prior experience with retail audit tools (i.e., Nielsen), experience with data handling using SQL (Snowflake) are not required but will be considered a plus
- Strong data analytics skills, confident database usage (Nielsen, Power BI)
- Experience in prioritizing tasks, managing workload and working with tight deadlines
- Strong project management incl. 3rd party agencies management
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in reports creation in Power BI
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to details with a structured & organized way of thinking
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
