British American Tobacco United Kingdom  has an exciting opportunity for an HR Executive in London for a fixed term contract of 12 months

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

To contribute to the delivery of the Centre HR Marketing people agenda in BAT by leading and supporting diverse HR processes and projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Drive Employee Administration Activities

  • Act as data quality champion and insights generator from HR analytics. Deliver excellent standards of data quality to support talent management, workforce planning and reward processes.
  • Own and lead the planning and coordination of key HR Cycle activities with respective HRBPs, such as annual performance reviews, performance calibration, talent reviews & development planning processes.
  • Provide support and administration on a variety of HR activities and projects identified in the HR cycle plan for HR Centre Marketing, including the consolidation of multiple sub-functional inputs to find synergies and efficiencies
  • Coordinate Joiners, Movers, and Leaver’s admin processes with the business and GBS HR (Shared Services), such as right to work checks, hire and onboarding processes, Global Mobility/ immigration/ relocation processes and services, ensuring data quality assurance and a smooth process for all JML individuals.
  • Coordinate employment cost tracking in close collaboration with Finance BPs, particularly leading the control of cross-charges, recharges, actual expenditure reconciliation.

Support recruitment co-ordination and Onboarding

  • Collaborate with GBS HR, recruiting Line Manager and functional HRBPs driving seamless recruitment experiences within the Centre Marketing function  
  • Upskills/guides/counsels recruiting Line Manager on the recruitment process, their roles and responsibilities towards driving an exemplary candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinates with recruiting Line Manager for a great reception on Day 1 and onboarding to facilitate a smooth transition and fitting together.

Support Talent Branding, Employee Engagement & L&D Initiatives

  • Actively coordinate, input into and drive initiatives towards addressing areas of opportunity from the Your Voice Surveys
  • Support the Centre marketing HR team in the administration of Leadership and functional trainings including and not limited to L&D training completion report tracking, support communications with Line Managers across the client group.

What are we looking for?

Experience Required

  • Demonstrable solid hands-on HR experience in handling CORE HR processes and systems autonomously, preferably in a large multinational & matrixed organization
  • Strong experience in managing data and generating insights to identify opportunities and initiatives

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Solid HR professional knowledge with experience of working with data & insights.
  • Learning agility, ability to work with minimal supervision and delivery within tight timelines
  • Highly organized, structured in approach, ambitious, courageous and resilient
  • Customer oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Experience of campaign planning & management as well as knowledge and experience in project management & delivery
  • Ability to manage and interpret data, conduct research & analysis, and develop metrics.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Flexible, and confident to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Proactive, self-driven and creative. Has the confidence to challenge status quo and bring new ideas
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • CIPD/part qualified (or equivalent) preferred.
