British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Control Engineer in Monterrey

Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Experience in Project management.
    • Experience in installation and maintenance of electronic and control equipment.
    • Experience in vision systems (Cognex, Omron, etc.)
    • Experience with speed control equipment (drives, servo motors, etc.)
    • Experience handling robots (Kuka)
    • Experience with sensors and actuators (Sick, Keyence, Festo, Banner, etc.)
    • Experience with control networks (Profibus, Industrial Ethernet, Profinet, etc.)
    • Experience in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, etc.
    • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge)
    • Experience in project management, with knowledge in technical areas and maintenance.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in engineering, electronics, or mechatronics.
  • Knowledge of programming and diagnostics of PLC equipment (Siemens, Beckhoff, Allen Bradley, etc.)
  • Knowledge of programming and diagnostics of HMI equipment (Siemens, Twincat, RSView, etc.)
  • Familiarity with software such as TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, Twincat, SoftLogix
  • Knowledge of SCADA software (WinCC, FactoryTalk)
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Leadership, teamwork, and personnel management
  • Workload management and good organization
  • Communication skills
  • Use of Microsoft (Excel, Power Point)
  • Advance English language
  • 2+ years of experience
