British American TobaccoUK has an exciting opportunity for an Insights Executive – Internship (11 months) in Southampton
ROLE SUMMARY
To help support delivery of the provision of the Global ODM Data Insights and Data Quality (DQ) including its governance, processes and reporting, as well as tools, policies, access rights, quality criteria and measurement across BAT’s key information systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support ODM’s CI&I Insights, reporting, governance, processes, tools and requirements.
- Aim to the identification of new opportunities for continuous improvement of ODM processes through data insights, analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate and align with other ODM functions, Global Operations and the wider Master Data communities and collaborators to ensure the DQ & Insights solution aligns with all other relevant functions/ solutions.
- Support/Investigate future technologies to further improve the DQ, continuous improvements and insights capabilities as they become available and allowable.
- Handle use of Fabric, Alteryx, Power Automate & Power BI to produce Insights and DQ&I models and analytics through data gathering, blending & analysis.
- Solution development using the appropriate tools and software.
What are we looking for?
- Graduate in Numerical or Business Subject area (Achieved or predicted 2.1 or higher).
- Numerate, analytical and have strong attention to detail.
- Advanced in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills, have a structured/planned approach to work, be able to prioritise tasks and be a great teammate.
