BAT Australia is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager, where you will play a critical role in shaping strategic financial decisions that drive business success. Your expertise in pricing, data analytics, and stakeholder collaboration will enable optimised portfolio management, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

This role is about more than just numbers—it’s about influence, strategy, and leadership. You will work cross-functionally to deliver key pricing initiatives, enhance financial processes, and support governance compliance, all while fostering a high-performance culture.

What you will be accountable for

• Deliver pricing scenarios and modelling to influence and enable strategic financial decisions on portfolio optimisation and laddering
• Implement best practice data analytic and model building
• Deliver a seamless process in price list releases, through alignment with Commercial and wider functions
• Drive and own relationship, and manage queries with offshore centres of excellence, DRBU and Regional teams
• Drive cross-functional team collaboration with wider Commercial team
• Support Senior Commercial Finance Manager on ad-hoc activities
• Ensure all governance processes and requirements are adhered to with strong focus on compliance, ensuring SOX readiness and Audit readiness
• Dedicate to our governance and compliance culture to ensure an operating environment with the appropriate controls and dedication to deliver high standards of corporate governance and integrity

Crucial Experience, Skills and Knowledge

• Degree or equivalent experience with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA), preferred Big 4 experience in previous roles
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and collaborators’ management skills
• Broad experience in large global organization within depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areas
• Strong influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial competence,
• Ability to simplify large amounts of data/complex situations and communicate and present to collaborators
