WE ARE LOOKING FOR ALEAD MANAGER, REVENUE CAPTURE

FUNCTION: Finance – Commercial Finance

LOCATION: Winston Salem, NC

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reports to: Director Commercial Finance - Revenue Capture Total Oral

No Direct Reports

Core Relationships: Commercial Finance, Growth Management, Strategy & Planning, Commercial Planning & Analysis, Trade, and Marketing.

Geographic Scope: US Market

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Play a key role in the financial delivery and success of the Total Oral (Traditional + Modern) business in the US that comprises multiple iconic brands representing +£1Bn Revenue, including the rapidly growing Modern Oral category.
  • Partner with stakeholders and provide strategic and financial guidance to cross-functional business partners.
  • Present and communicate to stakeholders the forecasts, performance, and potential risks/opportunities related to Total Oral Net Turnover of +£1Bn.
  • Support and monitor the launch of Velo and Grizzly Plus, collaborating with RGM to develop promotion strategy and ensure financial and volume delivery for NMO NPIs.
  • Responsible for Total Oral discounting budget of £200mn, ensuring strategic allocation to drive profitability and achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide stakeholders with meaningful analytics and insights regarding Total Oral financial performance.
  • Perform quarterly SOX control, ensuring a robust internal control environment is maintained around discounting processes to support internal and external compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and efficiency within the Commercial Finance team.
  • Provide support to the RGM team monthly Pricing & Excise Strategy forum, supporting RGM to develop pricing strategies that align with company objectives and drive profitability including validating financials for all Total Oral topics.
  • Ensuring P&E outcomes are communicated to stakeholders and reflected correctly into the financial reporting.
  • Supporting and guiding GBS team members on month-end closing processes to ensure all activities are delivered timely and accurately.
  • Presenting actuals vs forecast variance drivers and flagging sensitivities to ensure financial delivery to the Total Oral category.
  • Manage and guide interns to ensure the successful completion of projects and presentations.
  • Driving ad-hoc projects as required

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, economy or related field.
  • 2-4 years of finance experience with commercial finance experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and commercial strategy.
  • Understanding of consumers, customers, opportunities, and risk to drive business growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to articulate financial strategy, results, and forecasts.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo as necessary.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, while being a self-starter.
  • Confidence and ability to challenge the status-quo to move the business forward.
  • High sense of urgency, work ethic and flexibility.

  • 401(k) plan that offers opportunity to save on pre- and post-tax basis up to 50 percent of eligible compensation.
