Reports to: Sr Director DBS Customer Experience
Number of Direct Reports: 0
Core Relationships: Internal – Marketing, DBS, Finance, Supply Chain
External – Vendors, Customers, etc
Geographic Scope: DRBU
Travel Required: up to 10%
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- This role will be accountable to build a team to support and provide oversight for all EDI noted activities below. This role will provide the management and oversight of the team and the deliverables the team will be accountable for. Until that team is established this role will be accountable for the oversight of all the noted EDI processes working independently with little oversight and drive the support for the existing version of all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Maps and all customizations led with IBM Sterling and the map implementations with the partners as new partners are set-up.
- For customer transactions: need to be familiar with Implementation Guides and Mapping Specifications and be able to review and update them for EDI Transactions: 852 version 5010, 850 version 4010, 4030, and 5010, 855 version 5010, 810 version 4010, 4030, and 5010, 875 version 4010 and 5010, 880 version 5010, 601 version 4050.
- For vendor transactions: 810 & 850 version 4010
- For 3PL transactions: 846, 943, 944, 945, & 940 version 4010 as well as other EDI transactions
- Lead the setup and ongoing management of EDI partnerships, transactions, communication protocols, and EDI solutions and handle certificate updates on IBM Sterling side for wholesale customers, vendors and 3PL Supply Chain; and, on Axway.
- Oversee IBM Sterling support tickets for changes, production incidents and new Trading Partners onboarding and oversee and lead new partner onboarding on EDI for both customer and vendors through IBM Sterling setup and SAP ECC setup providing high level technical expertise to ensure success
- Accountable for EDI related incidents within SAP and design solutions in response and act as technical Subject Matter Authority by providing training to all new Reynolds business users by assisting in granting access, navigating the platform, and recognizing issues driving accountability and efficiencies to support their partners effectively
- Lead training and improving the skills of internal teams to ensure a common understanding of EDI operations to ensure that they understand how to use IBM Inflight and support the external partners they work with daily Assist in management of VMI (Vendor Manged Inventory) related support and solutioning for business demands.
- Assist in management of Celonis related support and solutioning for business demands.
- Assist in management of SAP Sales and Distribution support and solution for business demands.
- Work independently and lead results working with our 3rd party technical support team in all platforms used by our business partners and help drive efficiencies in both DBS and business areas.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration and EDI.
- Proven background with EDI Standards ANSI X12 (American National Standards Institute X12).
- Experience with AS2 and VAN connections.
- Demonstrated ability to act as technical expert for EDI and relevant integrations.
- Ability to provide daily monitoring and troubleshooting of EDI transactions Need to understand how to supervise EDI transactions for failures and understand how to reprocess transactions, if required. Familiarity with IBM Sterling B2B Integration SaaS Hub Tool - InFlight is highly recommended.
- Familiarity with SAP PI, Axway, SFTP, SAP APIM to be able to understand all the connections in and out of IBM Sterling and our external EDI partners for OTC, P2P, and Logistics, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business users and other teams for testing and sign offs on implementations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve sophisticated technical issues and meticulous and organized, capable of balancing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
