British American Tobacco Colombia has an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner in Bogotá
This position is responsible for coordinate, analyze and execute key human resources functions such as recruitment, compensation, technical and managerial training, payroll management, social welfare, talent, induction, through the annual planning of support areas, in order to ensure compliance with the programs and policies of the area under the guidelines of the Human Resources Directorate.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with training plans, performance evaluations, organizational diagnostics, and Talent, Development, and Career programs to support employees' continuous professional and personal growth.
- Execute Compensation and Budget processes, including headcount control (direct and temporary staff), personnel movements, salary adjustments, and job description updates, to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Coordinate and implement Reward Management activities, such as grants, recognitions, and employee discount agreements.
- Develop proposals related to compensation, work environment, development, and people management, in collaboration with specialized centers, to proactively address business needs.
- Advise business areas on actions and practices that foster a positive organizational climate, enhancing the company’s reputation as a top employer with a high quality of work life.
- Lead the Recruitment and Selection process, including events, interviews, assessment centers, safety visits, reference checks, medical exams, onboarding documentation, induction, and training coordination, to ensure timely hiring of qualified talent.
- Coach line managers on handling operational employee relations matters, such as grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Advise on voluntary and involuntary exits and conduct exit interviews.
- Oversee the administration of Collective Agreement clauses, ensuring compliance through proper documentation and procedures.
What are we looking for?
- At least 3 - 4 years of working experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
- Solid understanding of strategy, policies and processes related to Talent, OE, Reward.
- Proven ability to persuade, influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring and relationship building skill.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and is committed to self-development.
- Resilience / tenacity to deliver results in an environment of ambiguity.
- Advance English written and spoken.
