British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Manager in Bucharest.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support assessment potential implications and provide solutions for changing internal accounting standards. Review regulatory requirements to ensure Group management reporting are timely and accurate.
- Support review and impact assessment of assigned accounting /regulatory developments, preparing proposals on adoption considering business process implications, Key Performance Indicators implications and clearly articulating risks and mitigations of proposals.
- The team will be leading business process review/creating new business processes to support changes in regulatory development with clear consideration of controls, SOx, IT system and stakeholder management.
- Stakeholder management and education/training of key functions including Regions, DRBUs, End Markets, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations and Business Controls..
- Participate in and support review of reporting output and working with global partners to enhance reporting quality, compliance and understanding.
- Co-ordination and preparation of Global planning and management reporting guidelines.
- Act as a subject matter expert (“SME”) on for BAT’s periodic forecast and actuals management reporting.
What are we looking for?
- Min 3 years Financial planning and Reporting experience across large multi-national organisation
- IFRS and US GAAP knowledge strongly preferred
- An understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems including SAP and BPC.
- Effective working relationships across multiple partners – including non finance.
- Ability to work under pressure, keep to tight deadlines and be motivated to deal with ambiguity.
- Professional financial qualification
- High standard of spoken and written English
- Experience of implementing changes in accounting standards or regulations within a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment preferred.
