British American Tobacco Romaniahas an exciting opportunity for a People Analytics & Insights Specialist in Bucharest
This role will support the delivery of all people analytics and insights demand ensuring robust analytics, polished presentation, impactful visualisations, effective storytelling and valuable insights that will help prompt practical recommendations and corrective actions. It will be part of the discovery, definition, design and deployment of new analytics and insights tools and techniques, and the enhancement of those that already exist, doing so by embracing the latest developments in data science, statistical modelling, and AI.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the engagement of customers and collaborators, particularly the GHRLT members and various Talent & OE CoEs, to debate, advise and align on gathering the most meaningful people questions and hypotheses for insight generation.
- Support the delivery of all people analytics and insights deliverables and deep-dives using advanced analytical techniques and statistical models to provide advanced analytical insight into the most pressing people questions and hypotheses, while delivering them with effective storytelling and impactful visualisations.
- Support the collection of all data requirements from within and outside HR systems, to activate a robust and comprehensive data supply for analytics and insights generation.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the annual people analytics and insights cycle plan.
- Support the design and deployment of advanced people analytics and insights solutions, working in collaboration with the various Talent & OE CoEs, HR Technology and D&A HR teams to standardise, productise and automate those solutions where the demand warrants it, particularly those which help inform the measures of success as detailed by BAT’s People Strategy.
- Support the design and deployment of learning solutions for end-market HR teams to empower their use of people analytics and insights and encourage their adoption of self-service people analytics and insights products and platforms.
What are we looking for?
- Competent data manipulation and analytics skills, preferably an Advanced Excel user.
- Confident using people analytics platforms, such as Power BI.
- Open to developing skills in story-telling and insight generation.
- Open to developing skills in building advanced analytical and statistical models in tools such as Alteryx and Python.
- Collaborative communication skills (primarily in English) able to receive and interpret user feedback.
- Emerging stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Creative approach to problem-solving.
- Pro-active contributor and self-starter with a keen attention to detail.
