British American TobaccoSolomon Islandshas an exciting opportunity for an Admin Supportin Honiara.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Formal qualification in Administration, Management, Regulations and Secretarial studies, or other similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated 2 years of experience work in admin, regulations, management and PA or secretarial Role
  • People skills – ability to communicate well with others
  • Maintaining partners relationships both internal and external
  • Assist the Admin Executive with day-to-day secretarial duties, including scheduling meetings, travel coordination, and calendar management.
  • Manage office filing systems, handle incoming/outgoing mail, screen phone calls, and coordinate visitor access.
  • Support accurate creation and management of Purchase Orders, ensuring proper goods receipting and document handling.
  • Assist with vendor creation and updates in the company’s Master Data system.
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for overseas visitors and the Solomon Islands Leadership Team, including visa processing, flight bookings, and accommodation arrangements.
  • Organize company-wide meetings, including venue booking, agenda preparation, catering, and logistics.
  • Provide administrative support for regulatory and legal-related activities in collaboration with the LEX team.
  • Ensure reception duties are managed professionally before and during business hours.
  • Help implement various admin projects and initiatives assigned to the Admin team.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to align with our leadership and growth culture.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners, including travel agents and hotels, to ensure efficiency and value.

What are we looking for?

  • A formal qualification in Administration, Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration, office management, or a personal assistant/secretarial role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Experience liaising with external stakeholders such as suppliers, vendors, or travel agencies is a plus.
