Role Purpose
The Global Sourcing Manager-COE is responsible for the execution and governance of the global Source-to-Contract strategy across Electronics (EMS/PCBA) and Mechanical categories. The role ensures delivery of cost, innovation, supply resilience and ESG targets, while acting as a bridge between R&D, Procurement, Operations and the supplier base.
- Responsible for end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and supply chain risk mitigation.
- Requires strong experience in Electronics and/or Mechanical sourcing, negotiation skills, and knowledge of cost models and ESG initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include
- Drive end-to-end sourcing across NPD and BAU, including strategy development, tendering, negotiation, contracting, and full lifecycle delivery
- Define and execute global sourcing strategies aligned with productivity, cost optimization, and business objectives
- Partner closely with R&D and cross-functional teams to support successful product launches at optimal cost and quality
- Enable dual sourcing and platforming strategies through robust supplier selection and supply base optimization
- Lead supplier selection, SRM, and performance management, leveraging digital tools and governance frameworks
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through should-cost modelling, value stream mapping (VSM), and IWS methodologies
- Lead global contract negotiations and manage contract lifecycle via iCertis, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and compliance
- Develop and execute Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to mitigate risks, support business growth, and enhance supply resilience
- Drive ESG and sustainable procurement initiatives, including CO₂ reduction, recyclability, and waste minimization
- Act as a COE interface, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration across global stakeholders and functions
What are we looking for?
Experience & Knowledge
- Strong experience in Electronics (EMS/PCBA, components) and/or Mechanical categories (CMF, tooling)
- Proven track record in global sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations
- Strong understanding of cost modelling, supplier financials, and market dynamics
- Experience managing NPD programs and complex global cross-functional projects
- Solid understanding of supply chain risk management and resilience strategies, including BCP and dual sourcing
Skills
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability
- Advanced stakeholder management and influencing capability across global and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical capability and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, multicultural, and matrix environment
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline
- CIPS or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Lean / IWS methodology experience preferred
