British American Tobacco Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for a New Product Innovation (NPI) Manager in Malang, Indonesia!
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of new product projects on time and in full — from planning to execution.
- Build and manage clear project plans, working with cross-functional teams to keep everything on track.
- Give regular updates to teams and leaders so everyone knows how the project is progressing.
- Highlight key decisions and budget needs early to avoid surprises and enable faster action.
- Keep project costs visible and controlled — from tooling and trials to material write-offs.
- Partner closely with teams like marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain to keep things moving smoothly.
- Run meetings, solve problems, and motivate teams to keep pushing forward — even when things get tough.
- Constantly look for ways to improve how we manage and deliver projects across markets.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing operations or projects in FMCG or similar industries.
- Confident leading cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Skilled in project management tools, planning systems (like SAP), and Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Solid understanding of how new product launches work from start to finish.
- Great at managing pressure, solving problems, and navigating change with a positive attitude.
- Strong communicator — clear in meetings, sharp with written updates, and able to influence without authority.
- Comfortable working across different cultures, especially in fast-paced environments like Malaysia or Indonesia.
