British American Tobacco Bulgaria has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Specialist in Sofia
Your key responsibilities will include:
·Ensure the integrity and quality of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting and support the preparation of the statutory year-end financial package in compliance with IFRS.
·Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to translate and incorporate commercial decisions into financial forecasts.
·Perform analytical reviews of variances compared to agreed forecast.
·Track financial impacts and analyze component cost variations.
·Assist in managing the company’s marketing actuals and budget, working closely with Budget Holders to ensure adherence to financial guidelines
·Update the Group Planning & Reporting Tool monthly with the latest financial assumptions.
·Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to support business decision-making.
·Coordinate various accounting processes, ensure accuracy of accounting entries, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
·Ensure and support timely and accurate execution of the month-end closing process in accordance with internal standards and procedures.
·Assist in execution of internal and external audits.
What are we looking for?
·Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
·Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position.
·Good working knowledge of SAP (considered a strong advantage).
·Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
·Excellent communication skills and a positive, constructive attitude.
·Openness, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to a dynamic environment, collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·Excellent command of written and spoken Bulgarian & English.
