British American Tobacco POLAND has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist in WARSAW
The key objective of this role is to maintain optimal inventory levels across locations by monitoring stock, sales, stockouts, and SLOBs, while driving corrective actions when risks arise. The role requires close collaboration with planning, logistics, and commercial teams, as well as managing banderol supply, coordinating rework activities, and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions.
This role directly supports product availability, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency. By proactively managing inventory risks, coordinating critical supply chain activities, and delivering actionable insights, the role helps reduce stockouts, minimize inventory losses, ensure compliance, and support overall business performance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Perform inventory analysis and drive actions to maintain optimal stock levels across multiple locations in collaboration with logistics and planning teams.
- Monitor sales, inventory, stockouts, and SLOBs, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to improve product availability and inventory health.
- Coordinate non-standard rework activities with factory teams, ensuring timely execution and alignment with operational requirements.
- Analyse sales trends and demand fluctuations, working closely with planning teams to proactively mitigate stockout and excess inventory risks.
- Prepare regular reports and provide data-driven insights on inventory performance, highlighting risks, and recommending actions to support business objectives.
- Oversee banderol supply for assigned supply chains by managing purchase orders, maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating timely deliveries to production plants, and ensuring accurate reconciliation and proper documentation archiving.
What are we looking for?
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of SAP and Power BI would be beneficial
- University degree in supply chain or logistics would be an advantage
