WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Optimizing machinery and equipment performance to minimize downtime.
  • Identifying issues and implementing solutions to prevent productivity losses.
  • Conducting regular maintenance as per schedule.
  • Creating and standardizing maintenance processes and protocols.
  • Educating team members on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Addressing critical equipment failures promptly.
  • Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators for maintenance.
  • Actively contributing to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Demonstrating strong performance under pressure.
  • Possessing essential technical expertise.
  • Provide prompt and efficient support to the AM (Assembly/Manufacturing) team in resolving production-related issues.
  • Lead the implementation of KAIZEN (continuous improvement) initiatives to identify and eliminate inefficiencies within the production process.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

  • The jobholder should preferably be DAE Mechanical.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of machinery and equipment.
  • Proficiency in performing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and protocols.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems and data analysis.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work order management.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance activities.
