British American TobaccoRomania has an exciting opportunity for Commercial Finance Analyst UK&I in Bucharest!
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively monitor and track costs and highlights any variance from plan, both actual and forecast - collate and analyse detailed breakdown of cost and provide input to budget holder for their review.
- Prepare first level commentary, dashboards & variance analysis, including analysis of MI commitments
- Provide accurate and timely information on budget plan and actual spend to assist marketing management in monitoring ongoing performance
- Monitor detailed marketing budgets and financial data in Company’s systems, aligned with Pink/Orange Book and Marketing Finance Team submissions.
- Run & understand all cost allocations, cost accounting & queries (e.g., adjustments, accruals, provisioning)
- Direct engagement with BH to manage and understand accruals/provisions (incl. tracking), cost reallocations, standard recharges, Shared Costs, IFRS15 reclass etc.
EXPERIENCE
- Proficient in analyzing Financial Documents
- Good Business / Commercial understanding and curiosity
- Working well independently
- Proactivity, initiative-taker, solution oriented
- Business Partnering Approach
- Good technical skills and solid knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically SAP, or ERP equivalent
- Skilled in recognizing risks and in implementing controls with a continuous improvement approach
- Resilience and quick adaptability to changing environment
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required with a strong understanding of the accounting process and practice in BAT / GBS, or relevant experience accepted
