Senior Analyst Accounts Payable with English

British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst Accounts Payable with English in Bucharest. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the registration process for VAT and Withholding tax (WHT) in Turkey is aligned with local regulation in place.
• Mentorship and support the processing team on all issues related to VAT Tax Codes and WHT.
• Drive and deliver business excellence: year on year improvement of Operational KPIs, (POT, E-invoicing, GR/IR, Invoice Cycle time).
• Ensure all SOX / Non-SOX controls are being adhered to and that any discrepancies or issues are being actively highlighted.
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external collaborators.

What are we looking for?

• Advance English skills - spoken and written.
• 1+ years’ experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Highly organized, deadline oriented, attention to details, problem solving, prioritization attitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
• Proactivity, good time management, very good communication skills, able to drive very good collaboration and effective communication with various stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably with specialization in Accounting or Finance.

*Please note that the contract is fixed-term until 01.05.2026.
