BAT Finlandis looking for a Junior Executive (12-months project term employment) for our Finnish Deployment team to be involved in and drive development projects across different departments.

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

We are establishing a brand new organisation in Finland therefore currently looking for an Junior Activation Executive who wants to join us on this exciting journey. Are you eager to develop yourself and be challenged in a fast-paced environment? You will be joining our newly established Finnish business unit with engaged and highly experienced colleagues who all focus on delivering upon our strategy and objectives to create true value to our Nordic business. WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

As Junior Activation Executive you will be involved in all activation activities, lead projects based on business needs, and support the growth of our brands through step-changing activation. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support Trade Initiatives and Deployment Projects
    • Based on business needs, there are ongoing initiatives and projects requiring support, to which you will gain project management experience. You will be an integral part to initiating, developing and tracking various projects, including measure of success and evaluation. The scope of projects you will work with are highlighted in the key operating areas of the Activation team:
  • Retail Excellence Strategy
    • Support our internal team’s collaboration with Retail Partners and external suppliers to develop, install and maintain optimal In Store Furniture (ISF) solutions to maximize category success.
    • Partner with our Area brand team to develop and deploy brand and trade campaigns according to cycle plans and track KPIs.
  • Entertainment Platform Strategy
    • Event Planning: Conceptualise, plan, and execute engaging events/HORECA partnerships that align with our brand and marketing objectives.
    • Post-Event Analysis: Evaluate the success of each event and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • People Leadership: lead our 121 engagement strategy by recruiting, briefing and following the performance of our external 121 agents that will attend above events.
  • Consumer Leadership model
    • Champion the consumer / shopper, ensuring relevant delivery of brand positioning and marketing mix in market.
    • Support Business Cases as needed to develop the optimal NPI pipeline to maintain and further grow our Category Leadership.
    • Reporting, monitoring of activation and analysis of brands performance within channel in accordance with overall channel reporting and make any required remedial recommendations.
    • Project manage new initiatives intended to build awareness of our portfolio.
    • Contribute to identification and execution of new opportunities to enable growth.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

As the ideal candidate you are pro-active, creative, and dynamic, and you are good at setting clear direction and move fast to deliver business results. You possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills, with the ability to work independently as well as being a team-player.

Furthermore, to succeed in the role, you have:

  • A University degree in Marketing, Business or Business Information
  • Experience in the FMCG industry
  • Strong analytical, systems and numeracy skills with capability to master complexity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and/or Finnish
  • Strong communication and planning skills
  • IT skills at advanced level
  • You are bold, curious, and resilientlearn quickly and share learnings
  • You are responsible and think long term and deliver outstanding results
