British American TobaccoIreland has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive in Galway + Limerick Cities, Ireland – Field Based.
Focusing on key city strategic outlets, this role will develop these outlets through the implementation of trade marketing activities, mutually beneficial joint business planning and overall DSS service with campaign cycles.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Execute campaign activities in line with campaign plan.
- Development of strong trade relationships in all stores through joint business planning and high frequency of visits.
- Implementation of trade brand activations to ensure market growth.
- Ensure correct outlet product assortment availability.
- Ensure all opportunities are acted upon in the outlet to ensure sales are maximised and aim to reduce
- Exercising vigilance for new opportunities within the territory for product activation. Eg: Indirect accounts/ local events and developing strategies to capitalise in this regard.
What are we looking for?
- Educated to degree level or appropriate level of experience.
- In-depth-knowledge of the company’s brands and brand strategies.
- Approximately 2 years FMCG retail sales experience.
- Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Business Acumen - Ability to manage financial budget.
- Selling and negotiation skills.
- Organisation & Analytical Skills.
- Self Motivated & Works on own initiative.
- Presentation & Computer skills/ Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint.
