Accountable for the delivery of financial excellence across supply chain, identify and lead opportunities improve efficiency, optimize cost and enhance profitability within the operations and to support business needs with accurate Cost of sales forecast / deliver the respective targets. |

Key Accountabilities
- Drive and execution of the monthly / quarterly / annual budgeting and reporting of product cost and primary supply chain cost, provide input to management team on variances, risks and any corrective actions
- Ensure all cost components, including Raw materials, overheads and primary supply chain costs are accurately captured.
- Work closely with the operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to gather data and understand cost fluctuations to analyze cost variances and prepare reports for management review
- Provide actionable insights to improve cost management and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with Controls pertaining to operations finance including Compliance with SOX and Non-SOX Controls
- Provide information quarterly information for Audit Committee and Board Deck
- Build accurate Financial Model for cost of sales, productivity initiatives, stock build initiatives and cash forecast
- Identify and initiate appropriate corrective action to prevent or address accounting / control issues
- Proactively monitor key accounts in the balance sheet to improve the company’s working capital and prepare quarterly schedules
- Dealing with external audits throughout the year
- Big picture thinking & demonstrate commercial acumen to ensure business objective delivery
- Ensure timely financial information submission to Area and Region in accordance with Reporting Timetables
- Ensure correct duties and related costs are paid for the imported materials
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring proper adjustments are made in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure inventory valuation is accurate and aligned with financial reporting requirement
- Analyze inventory trends and performance metrics, recommending actions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance stock control.
- Leading saving projects that affect manufacturing cost and primary supply chain cost, proactive engagement with stakeholders to ensure all projects are delivered with planned benefits and timings
- Collaborate with different teams across local, regional and shared services levels; as well as cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement teams
- Continuously provide adequate support & training to budget holders and internal stakeholders as appropriate to ensure all stakeholders are aligned to required BAT way of work.
- Full optimisation of SAP and BPC capabilities to improve productivity and improve efficiency within the Finance function.
- Utilise internal processes and networks to ensure the dissemination of knowledge and learning throughout the organisation, to facilitate productivity gains and continuous improvements.
- Review and benchmark processes against BAT entities and develop initiatives to enhance performance
- Effective management, coaching and development of his/her direct report

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Finance specifically in Financial Planning/ Costing and Reporting (FMCG experience is an advantage)
- Qualified Accountant OR MBA Grad with relevant work experience OR Graduate of Finance & Accounting with of relevant work experience.
- Understanding of the product costing process
- Experience in use of SAP (enterprise system)
- Financial Modelling skills
- Financial Accounting
- Cost and Bill of Material (Recipe) management
- Budgeting and variance analysis
- Import and Export regulations and processes.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and keep to tight deadlines
- This role requires strong communication skills and will need to liaise with Heads of Finance, Operations and GBS team.
