BAT GBS PAKISTAN IS LOOKING FOR Corporate Finance Analyst (1 Year - Fixed Term)

LOCATION: Lahore, Pakistan
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Corporate Finance Analyst is responsible for tracking and managing the company's overheads, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role will also involve handling accruals, intercompany (IC) recharges, and other financial tasks to maintain the integrity of financial records.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Track Overheads: Monitor and analyze the company's overheads, ensuring they align with the budget and identifying any discrepancies.
- Accruals and Adjustments: Prepare and process necessary accruals for month-end and year-end close, ensuring proper allocation of expenses and revenue.
- Intercompany (IC) Recharges: Oversee and manage the reconciliation and processing of intercompany recharges, ensuring proper documentation and timely settlements.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing analysis of overheads, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
- Budgeting and Forecasting Support: Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, especially related to overheads and intercompany transactions.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Liaise with various departments to gather necessary data and resolve any discrepancies or concerns related to overheads and financial entries
- Audit Preparation and Support: Assist with both internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and supporting materials are readily available and compliant.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Qualifications / Experience / Certifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Preferably candidates with at least 1 year of work experience, or fresh graduates who have completed internships with multinational companies (MNCs).
- Will be added advantage with SAP and BPC or equivalent experience OR familiarity with Power BI .
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
