Role positioning and objective:
Internal Brand Advocate will support the delivery of the GBS expansion Hub's communications strategy at site level. This role will ensure the effective and efficient landing of strategic key messages, global campaigns and provide communication support to the Site Leadership Team, local Talent & Culture, and various stakeholders.in alignment with global GBS expansion Hub's priorities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement the internal communication plan for Pakistan HUB aligned with global and regional priorities.
- Ensure communications are consistent, scheduled, and tailored to local context.
- Create content for various platforms (editorials, blogs, videos, infographics, announcements).
- Tailor and publish engaging content for social media and internal channels with Digital Content Manager support.
- Plan and organize internal events (e.g., town halls, celebrations), coordinating agenda, flow, and logistics.
- Support comms for Talent & Culture initiatives like celebrations and recognition.
- Provide comms support for projects, initiatives, and senior stakeholder visits.
- Ensure alignment between internal and external communications across campaigns.
- Work closely with the GBS Leadership Team on employee engagement campaigns.
- Continuously improve campaign effectiveness using industry best practices and insights.
- Lead and motivate cross-location comms teams.
- Manage local comms budget and relationships with vendors.
What are we looking for:
Experience Required:
- 5-6 years of experience in multinational corporations, exposure to multicultural teams, and matrix structure.
- Proven ability to coordinate activities in a complex environment.
- Capacity to handle complexity, turning complexity into simplicity and delivering clear messages; ability to explain technical matters in a clear and brief manner.
- Creativity to power up the development and implementation of internal campaigns stimulating employee engagement.
- E2E event management (in-situ and online events), event design, agenda, coaching for speakers and negotiating best offers with external vendors.
- Understanding of data & insights that can help to build content creation.
- Expertise in approaching sensitive issues/cases, considering cultural differences.
- Creative, self-motivated individual, using high professional standards and able to bring forth a strong orientation to the quality level of services for internal clients.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required:
- Strong Communication & Language Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Urdu; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Creative Content Development – Skilled in creating diverse content formats (infographics, animations, videos) for social and digital platforms using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen – Solid understanding of MNC structures and strategies, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, impactful messages.
- Campaign & Event Management – Experienced in designing and managing end-to-end events (online and in-person), including agenda setting, speaker coaching, and vendor negotiations.
- Analytical & Insight-Driven – Proficient in data analysis and using insights to inform and enhance content and communication strategies.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement – Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively.
- Collaborative & Adaptable – A reliable team player who thrives in cross-functional, multicultural environments and adapts quickly to change.
- Project & Problem-Solving Skills – Highly organized with a track record of delivering projects on time and budget, while proactively resolving challenges.
