ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
Global Trave Retail Account Executive is required to support and implement key initiatives that drive volume, market share growth and profitability in a defined portfolio of accounts in line with the GTR marketing strategy and guidelines. The role will work with retailers & distributor in the travel retail universe that operate across multiple geographies.
What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?
The role will support the Europe based Global Travel Retail business unit deliver its annual targets and help realize the group’s “A BETTER TOMORROW” vision.
Reports to:Customer Group Manager – Global Travel Retail
Core Relationships:
Internal –Commercial finance, Supply Chain, Category & Activation teams.
External – Retailers & Distributors
Geographic Scope: Regional Global Travel Retail – Europe And Americas
Travel Required: Up to 30% travel
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support Customer Group to manage accounts end to end operation and deliver volume, market share, and profit as per expectations.
- Building and developing customer relationships.
- Establish relationships with key account operational staffs.
- Lead account plan execution and implementation.
- Drive launch & execution of new categories. Work closely with Customer Group & activation team to ensure delivery of day to day operation OTIF.
- Maximise trade spend efficiency through our retail, distribution partners, and agencies.
- Support consistent key accounts business reviews.
- Support analysis & reporting of responsible markets and accounts.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
- Sales & Key account management.
- Trade marketing & Activation.
- Budget Management
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Strong soft skills. Ability to influence stakeholders with strong negotiation skills.
- Planning skills and financial acumen
- Strong analytical, interpersonal & communication (oral and written).
- Strong excel skills.
- Ability to operate independently whilst being results-oriented.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience.
BENEFICIAL
- Global travel retail experience is advantageous.
- Experience managing large complex accounts.
- Forecast & planning experience.
- Experience within Business Intelligence and Analytics are considered an advantage.
