ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?  

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Summer Intern to join our Consumer Experience Digital Team for a two-month internship. This role provides hands-on experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, activation deployment, and market analysis, working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced digital deployment team that owns the direct-to-consumer strategy and execution, and you will receive developmental feedback on a regular basis from your manager. You will learn a whole range of responsible marketing fundamentals from experts in this field. You will gain valuable experience in eCommerce, CRM and Paid Media fundamentals and best practices. And you will build lasting relationships with those around you – forming that all important network for the future. Most importantly, you will have the chance to play a hands-on roll in deploying a 360 campaign that delivers on a wider business strategy.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Help deploy brand campaigns through various touchpoints, including CRM and eCommerce platforms.
  • Perform analysis on consumer data and develop recommendations to be actioned by yourself and the relevant wider team.
  • Presenting your findings to the rest of the team in the relevant forums.
  • Supporting your colleagues to deploy content and communications across digital touchpoints in line with the relevant trading calendars and cycle plans.
  • Supporting on end-to-end content development from agency briefing to deployment, collaborating with key colleagues and stakeholders through the entire process.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Skills Required

  • Currently pursuing a university degree (preferably in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field).
  • Displays strong engagement skills and articulates clearly with strong and solid rationale to support his/her line of thought.
  • Creative, in both thinking & execution; detail oriented and is constantly finding opportunities to improve.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills; basic understanding of commercial KPIs
  • Presentation skills, confident in delivering presentations to varying audience sizes and can construct a clear visual overview.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong MS Excel Skills
  • Understanding of Magento 2, Shopify+ or a similar CMS platform is helpful but not essential
  • Understanding of SFMC or a similar CRM system is helpful but not essential
