Data & Business Intelligence Analyst

This role is part of DBS Function in Mexico that supports the Canada Marketing – Insights & Foresights BI team agenda

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Execute daily validations, maintain data assets, and own an effective communication that proactively engages with users.
• Own end-to-end processes and support in scoping requirements, documentation, usage tracking, quality assurance testing, and product enhancements to ensure users’ needs are met.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Marketing, Trade, IT and suppliers to ensure that the solution is working as expected and data is accurate. 
• Support with the creation of robust processes and data pipelines to maximize solution delivery to go from data collection and cleansing to data analysis and reporting.
• Innovate and develop new reports using Excel, MicroStrategy and Power BI to support the dynamic needs of the business.
• Support the Data Science Executive and Sr. Data Scientist in data exploration, mapping and creating data dictionary tables
• Quality assurance of POS reporting that ensures the data is accurate and useful for decision making (includes account integration, validation, troubleshooting, documentation, and process mapping).

What are we looking for?

• 1-2 years in a similar role in a corporate environment, with a proven track record of business delivery
• Technical expertise, including proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and database management
• Demonstrates communication and storytelling skills including the ability to deliver effective presentations to stakeholders at all levels
• Excel, SQL, and BI platforms, along with knowledge of statistical models and programming languages such as Python and SQL
• A degree in a field such as Marketing, Computer science, or Analytics
• Strong understanding of MicroStrategy and PowerBI and proficiency with MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint
