British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Growth Management Executive in Monterrey
Partner with the US Growth Management Team by delivering data-driven commercial insights to support contract decisions, ensuring that end-market growth initiatives drive financial success and that effective resource allocation decisions are made across the value chain.
The role will help support the RAI Investment Strategy & Deployment team by demonstrating big data and sophisticated analytics while collaborating with internal and external partners. Conduct analytics that will provide data insights to drive share growth and improve the return on investment. Develop performance tools and models to help find opportunities and deliver recommended growth opportunities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the development of retail contracts and trade programs through data-driven volume and financial modelling.
- Establish, manage, and supervise key performance indicators across the Total Nicotine Industry contract universe by:
- Translating key business questions to vital data dimensions
- Developing and suggesting important measurements
- Collaborate with Growth Management partners to simplify trade execution while maintaining flexibility to meet volume and financial goals.
- Proactively suggest ideas to simplify trade execution while maintaining flexibility to meet volume and financial goals.
- Visualize, articulate, and present viewpoints to function partners for alignment
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced manner with data management tools.
- Play an active role as a member of Digital Business Solutions team, ensuring continuous improvement in all required capabilities (with emphasis on strong analytical skills).
What are we looking for?
- At least 3 years of professional experience, at least 2+ years in data analytics, revenue management, pricing, promotions, customer planning, sales strategy, or strategic planning. Experience with price related elasticities and profit & loss statements is desired.
- Proficient in English, written and spoken.
- Knowledge and experience in extracting, validating, and reviewing performance data and time management skills with an ability to adhere to strict deadlines and deliverables.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, both oral and written and ability to communicate technical information in a consolidated and straightforward way.
- Ability to manage multiple partners both virtually and physically in the office.
- Use of Data Visualization Tools and development of dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) is desirable and ability to design independently and deliver E2E analytics solutions / outcomes per specification.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, MicroStrategy, and the ability to quickly learn and use cloud-based third-party applications.
- Bachelor's Degree required, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Business Administration. Data Analytics Certifications are desirable.
