The role is responsible for demonstrating BAT’s global position within locally based organised accounts in order to establish outstanding key account management in BAT.
You will be joining our Norwegian business unit with engaged and highly experienced colleagues who all focus on delivering upon our strategy and objectives to create true value to our Nordic business. The position is based in our Oslo office located in Dronning Eufemias gate in the Barcode area close to public transport and with parking.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively seek, identify and quantify opportunities to grow our business & create and maintain reports for all accounts
- Measure & analyze BAT and competitors’ performance in accounts and in BAT demand side and supply side business performance in accounts, historical performance and expected future in order to classify accounts
- Own and drive projects linked to overall Business/Customer Profitability & align account plan with company / brand plans
- Support the implementation of account plans. Directly manage the implementation of account plans for assigned accounts to ensure that volume / profit objectives per account are achieved through the most efficient use of resources
- Negotiate BAT to a position of strength in accounts & provide input in identifying and developing future business opportunities with accounts. Manage consumer demand issues in accounts’ retail execution for the category & secure and increase distribution by creating and maintaining planograms
- Manage supply side issues in accounts & collect and analyze data of accounts. Create selling propositions to accounts based on facts extracted from various data sources & make analysis and basic negotiations with accounts
- Maintain Strategic Assortment Overview to continuously ensure portfolio strength & control financial documents of each account and ensure that all required docs are aligned with the accounting department
- Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.
What are we looking for?
- A University degree in Marketing, Business or Business Information and minimum 1-3 years of experience in marketing/ category management related functions
- Experience in FMCG industry
- Strong analytical, systems and numeracy skills with capability to master complexity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Norwegian
- Strong communication and planning skills
- IT skills at advanced level, preferably in MS Office / SAP / AC Nielsen / Power BI / Advanced Excel
- Quick learner and resilient
- You are responsible and think long term and deliver outstanding results
