British American TobaccoRomania has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Activation Executive in Rome, Italy
We need a Digital Activation Executive to lead in creating and driving content-based activation strategies that aim to improve consumer engagement throughout BAT's digital ecosystem. The role focuses on delivering impactful experiences, running digital campaigns, and ensuring consistency in consumer-facing content across touchpoints. This is a key role within the Digital & Consumer Experience team, supporting brand growth through effective storytelling, coordination of engagement initiatives, and project management across internal and external partners.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Plan and implement content-based digital engagement strategies in line with brand and business objectives
- Coordinate the execution of always-on and campaign-specific activations across owned channels
- Support the design and deployment of consumer journeys that connect digital storytelling with measurable actions (e.g. CRM, loyalty, conversion)
- Lead cross-functional briefings involving Brand, CRM, Legal, and Media teams to align messaging and execution timelines
- Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure timely and on-brand delivery of creative assets and activation materials
- Collaborate with CRM and Data teams to supervise performance, optimize engagement Key Performance Indicators, and propose continuous improvement
- Lead all aspects of the production and localization of content formats including video, static, and interactive assets for key campaigns
- Contribute to budget planning and post-initiative evaluations with a focus on return on investment and consumer impact
- Ensure content and activations are aligned with global brand guidelines and local compliance requirements
- Participate in testing and adoption of new engagement tools and formats across digital channels
What are we looking for?
- 2-5 years of experience in Brand, Digital or Consumer Engagement roles, ideally in a fast-paced, global or regional marketing environment
- Demonstrated ability in coordinating campaigns and collaborating with various teams
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and delivery timelines
- Experience in working with creative and media agencies on multi-platform campaigns
- Knowledge of digital Key Performance Indicators and how to translate content strategy into measurable engagement
- Ability to develop, present and defend business proposals
- Consumer centric attitude & good understanding of consumer behaviour online
- Commercial approach, business oriented, ambitious
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, in English
- Curious, proactive approach with the ability to balance creativity and execution
